A space attaché has been in service at this office since October 2022. The position of space attaché is relatively new in the roles of our Embassies and was introduced to promote national positioning in the space sector. In particular, in the Czech Republic, the space attaché takes care of bilateral relations and relationships with the European Union Space Agency (EUSPA) to encourage the involvement of national top industries. The space attaché’s dossier also includes the identification of new cooperation opportunities for the national space sector through the development of a network of relations and contacts with institutional, academic and industrial representatives active in the territory and accredited by the various Embassies present in Prague.
